Bawaal really is a well-made movie:
Bawaal was a refreshing change from the usual Bollywood fare. It combined romance, comedy, and social commentary with a unique historical perspective. The film’s exploration of World War II was both informative and thought-provoking.
Ajay Dikshit (Varun Dhawan) is a history teacher who is obsessed with his self-image. Janhvi Kapoor plays the role of Nisha Dixit, Ajay’s wife, who has epilepsy.
To find out how the film explores Ajju Bhai’s self-image, Nisha’s epilepsy, their romance, and why the history teacher has to go to Berlin to teach the history of World War II, you’ll have to watch the movie.
Bawaal also did a good job of exploring the history of World War II. The film’s depiction of the Auschwitz concentration camp and the gas chambers was particularly disturbing. However, I think it was important to show these horrific events in order to help people understand the true cost of war.
Overall, I thought Baawal was a well-made and thought-provoking film.
Good acting by Varun Dhawan and Jhanvi Kapoor, Varun Dhawan’s comic timing was hilarious and amazing direction once again by Nitesh Tiwari.
