Movie is nice family entertainer:

Trial Period was a good family entertainer that combined romance, comedy, and family emotion. The film tried a unique concept of hiring a father on a trial basis.

Genelia Deshmukh plays a single mother who hires a father on trial because her six-year-old son has been asking for one. Although she only hired him for her son, they eventually fall in love, as we all could predict.

Manav Kaul gives a great performance as the trial father. His authentic Hindi dialogues were impressive.

Overall, I thought Trial Period is a movie worth watching once. Genelia Deshmukh and Manav Kaul give good performances, and the direction by Aleya Sen is nice.
